Beauty Beyond the Mirror
We are told when we are young beauty is in the eye of the beholder. We grow up believing what the people around us think is important which causes us to place far too much value on things we have no control over. Our genetics only frame who we appear to be to the human eye.
As we mature, we learn it's not what others think about us that determines our success or value, it’s what we believe about ourselves that unlocks our real inner beauty.
This free beauty is not a result of a visible reflection. It far surpasses our DNA. It is from God! It's what we were all created for.
It's the way we learn about who God is and what we know about his love for us. God’s love is stronger than life. He proved that when Christ died for us.
Our Father wants us to know Him because who we are is in Christ. Through our relationship with Christ, we discover the beauty that will never fade, disappear, or disappoint.
It's the beauty that goes beyond what we see in the mirror. It's who we are in Christ… and it’s simply beautiful!
Read Chapter 1: John 1:1-3 King James Version (KJV)
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made The Life-Light
So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.
