Class is Never Out
Marriage is the highest institution of learning.
We learn to talk. We learn to listen.
We learn to give. We learn to receive.
We learn selflessness and service.
We learn sacrifice and patience.
We learn loyalty and trust.
We learn intimacy and distance.
We learn commitment and love.
A genuine test of what we learn is expressed in how long we choose to practice all our lessons with the same person. Marriage was meant to last a lifetime.
Marriage is where we learn how much we need God to understand ourselves and others. We learn
life is more about giving and not about taking.
The hard thing and the right thing are usually the same. Integrity is doing the right thing when no one is watching, and saying no to the wrong thing even when it is difficult.
Read Chapter 6: 1 Corinthians 6:17-19King James Version (KJV)
1 Corinthians 6:17-19King James Version (KJV) 17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. 19 What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
