Learning the Difference between Night and Day
New babies are a gift from God; until they wake up in the middle of the night. Babies then become a nightmare of sleep deprivation for their parents. All parents or other caregivers have to adapt continuously.
Learning to manage time, money, relationships, and our appetites require a lifetime of harsh lessons. Balancing patience, grace, delayed gratification, communication, commitment, and discipline helps us understand what we have control over and what has control over us.
Throughout our lives, stopping and thinking about life reveals similarities between life and an obstacle course.
Each station and stage is filled with new lessons and challenges.
Everyone in life will have some of the same experiences. However, they are rarely at the same time, and that's a great relief. We need each other in different stages of life so that we can share on each other’s days and nights.
I may not share in your living space and stage today or next week as we continue our journey of life, one day I will understand and relate to the how and why of your struggles. Yesterday’s struggle for you will become my present-day reality. One day, my tomorrow will become your today, and we will both understand the difference between day and night.

27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,
28 Bless them that curse you and pray for them which despitefully use you.
