Life Story or Life Sentences
Lonely and alone are not synonymous. Loneliness is the absence of people. Alone is a result of misplaced focus and understanding. You and I are never truly alone. God never breaks his promises. Unlike people, God is always with us. We place far too much value on the seen while ignoring the invisible. Faith trusts what is unseen while moving us forward with hope. Acting on that, you believe, produces fulfillment of our faith. Our relationship with God should drastically improve the quality of our relationships with ourselves and others. What good is a story with no one to enjoy it?
Indeed God gives love and acceptance and allows pain, loss, and disappointment to play a significant role in our growth. God is not the initiator of loss or suffering. God is our ally and greatest companion. We will each experience the above in our lifetime because it's a part of our life story. You and I are more than feelings, thoughts, and experiences; that's why it's called "our life story" and not "your life sentences." Men and women are not designed to live alone indefinitely.
Accepting our time alone makes us better together. Together we grow, and alone is where our roots and our purpose is made clear and vigorous. Alone is where our real story becomes our reality; it is where we take the time to hear and listen to God and our thoughts to gain strength from our experiences, both good and bad. Knowing God personally and intimately is the foundation for learning and understanding who we are and why we are given a life story to share with others.
That is our most valuable legacy, and it is our gift to the world. Believe in the path of your destiny, it's our life's mission. Walking alone and with others develops our character and personality. Time alone is designed as a tool that adds to our personal awareness. Time reveals the purpose and our real character. It adds life, love, and drama to our life story; it makes each of our stories a good read.
