“Lifestyles of the Eternally Rich and Famous"
It’s funny how Facebook has created a platform for social and community conversations. Some time ago I asked the question, “Is your relationship with God a religion or a lifestyle?”
The longer the question danced around in my head, the more intrigued I became with the question. Do you even understand the difference between religion and lifestyle, and if being in Christ is a way of life, what would it look like?
What would be the characteristics and what would be the standards? I began to research and study to find the definition of a lifestyle. Why do Christians believe that religion is a good thing? This question enticed me into deeper thought and a quest to discover if I have a lifestyle or if I am just religious? Our lifestyles are made up of the values, practices, and actions that define us. Religion or lifestyle, which will impact the world around me? Which am I ? Only what I do for Christ will last which makes me eternally rich and Christ Famous.
Read Chapter 2: Hebrews 2:9-10King James Version
9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
